Manage site civil and land development for renewable energy projects, including design, permitting, and construction observation, enhancing environmental quality for municipal and private clients.
Responsibilities
- Manage site civil, land development, stormwater, utility designs, and specifications to support solar or other renewable energy development projects including construction observation or administration
- Prepare and submit permit applications in support of project development, representing municipal and private clients
- Conduct presentations at public hearings to support permit applications for land use projects
- Work in a multidisciplinary team, manage multiple projects simultaneously, coordinate multiple disciplines, and collaborate with multiple staff members in a team environment
- Manage project financial performance and prepare proposals for new projects
Requirements
- BS in Civil or Environmental (or equivalent) Engineering
- 6 to 12 years of relevant experience
- Experience with Hydro CAD and other stormwater modeling software
- Strong skill set both with basic AutoCAD and Civil 3D
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Organizational/time management skills
- A valid driver’s license
Qualifications
- BS in Civil or Environmental (or equivalent) Engineering, MS preferred
- 6 to 12 years of relevant experience
Nice to Have
- MS in Civil or Environmental (or equivalent) Engineering
- PE certification
- Experience on renewable energy projects
