Manage commercial renovation projects for financial institutions from conception to completion, ensuring compliance with building codes and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Manage commercial renovation projects
- Provide support to site superintendents and employees
- Set up sub-contractors and assist in daily office needs
- Determine and define scope of work and deliverables
- Forecast resources needed to complete projects
- Obtain necessary permits, approvals, and regulatory prerequisites
- Draft and submit budgets based on scope of work and resource requirements
- Manage costs to meet budget
- Manage construction schedule and activities with onsite Superintendents
- Ensure work is done in compliance with all relevant building and safety codes
Requirements
- 5+ years of Construction Project Management experience
- Commercial Interior project experience (Wall finishes, Painting, Flooring, Millwork, Electrical, Saw cuts)
- Proficient in reading and understanding blueprints and drawings
- Reliable transportation and flexible work hours
- Demonstrated skill in operation of computers and MS Office products
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent. Construction Management Degree a plus
- 5+ years of Construction Project Management experience
