Project Installation & MSU Manager

About This Role

Manage the installation, maintenance, and inspection of security systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and customer requirements. Lead and oversee installation technicians to ensure efficient and effective performance of duties.

Responsibilities

• Support the daily workflow of the department
• Review department reports to ensure proper and efficient methods are followed
• Ensure technicians arrive to job sites on-time and in accordance with installation assignments
• Monitor technician performance and safety protocols on site
• Install security systems or appropriate devices, dismantle and/or reconstruct equipment as required
• Make connections and required adjustments, testing operation of all system components
• Conduct site surveys and provide customer training
• Keep manuals and all details up to date as changes are advised
• Report on activities completed, deferred, or requiring further action or material to management
• Communicate with customers on job status or completion

Requirements

• Ability to act in a lead capacity
• Exceptional internal/external verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge and proficiency using project management software
• Foundational understanding of IP networking, camera configurations and power systems (solar/battery)

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Project Management preferred
• 3-5 years’ experience in the security industry preferred
