Program / Project Manager III

About This Role

Manage projects for Hull, Mechanical, and Electrical (HM&E) systems onboard U.S. Navy Submarines, focusing on cost analysis, budgeting, risk assessment, and contractor performance. Serve as a liaison between the company, customers, and vendors, ensuring compliance with various regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform cost analysis and estimate expected project costs
• Prepare and implement project budgets based on estimates
• Conduct risk assessments, report identified risks to management, and provide mitigation recommendations
• Promptly address performance related questions, concerns, and/or complaints throughout the project
• Develop and provide assessments associated with contractor team performance (quality, cost control, schedule, management, compliance)
• Act as a liaison between the company, customers, and vendors
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, local, industry, contractual, and company regulations, standards, specifications, and best practices

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or Business-related discipline
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
• Ten (10) years of experience in project management, contract management, budgeting, scheduling, planning, estimating, progress tracking for HM&E systems on U.S. Navy Submarines
• Active Secret clearance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or Business-related discipline from an accredited university
• Ten (10) years of experience in project management, contract management, budgeting, scheduling, planning, estimating, progress tracking, and planning related to HM&E systems onboard U.S. Navy Submarine programs and projects.

Nice to Have

• Master's degree in Engineering or Business-related discipline
• Navy and/or NAVSEA experience
