About This Role

This role involves assisting with the development and maintenance of EVM processes and reports, providing data-driven insights into program performance, and identifying process improvement opportunities for missile defense-related or other complex DoD programs.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with developing, implementing, and maintaining EVM processes and reports to ensure accurate measurement of program performance
  • Support program management by providing data-driven insight into cost, schedule, and technical performance to enable informed decision-making and proactive risk management
  • Analyze and document existing business process flows to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities
  • Provide expert support to government contracting representatives for associate contractors in the execution and administration of new project and baseline task
  • Develop descriptive tasking language and assist with government cost estimates
  • Assist with government technical evaluations and recommendations
  • Participate in weekly meetings and customer requirements meetings to prepare and submit bi-weekly reports
  • Identify trends or other issues that may require special consideration or procedures
  • Prepare briefings, white papers, information papers, recommendations, governance metrics, and policy assessments
  • Provide expert assistance with quality assurance of the associate contractor’s execution of their contracted tasks
  • Advise and assist the government to improve the operational effectiveness and efficiency of the MDA Office of the CIO in the delivery of IT solutions to the Agency

Requirements

  • Department of Defense (DoD) Secret security clearance
  • U.S. Citizenship
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a pertinent field plus 4 years of relevant IT experience working on missile defense-related or other complex, large DoD programs / projects
  • OR 8 years of relevant IT experience working on missile defense-related or other complex, large DoD programs / projects

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a field pertinent to position from an accredited institution
  • 4 years of relevant IT experience working on missile defense-related or other complex, large DoD programs / projects, or 8 years of relevant IT experience for an acceptable alternative.
