Production Worker - Coater

About This Role

TRCC is seeking an Entry-Level Production Worker for a coater line in a plant setting. This role involves operating and monitoring rolled goods coating machinery at various stations to produce products that meet company standards.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor rolled goods coating machinery to ensure continuous production.
• Perform continual checks to ensure proper machine functionality and make adjustments as needed.
• Monitor and adjust temperature, speed, backing gauge, coating weights and coverage, trim knife width, etc.
• Inspect finished products to ensure they meet specified quality standards and report defects.
• Assist in maintenance and general housekeeping of equipment and production areas.
• Follow safety protocols and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).

Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds at times.
• Ability to work in uncontrolled environmental settings (cold, hot, or humid).
• Ability to work in an environment with sudden loud noises.
• Basic math skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, preferred but not required.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of pumps and motors.
• Able to read formulas and weigh ingredients as necessary.
