The Production Utility Operator will be a key member of the Production Team, performing diverse industrial manufacturing tasks to ensure the successful production of aluminum products, including ingot handling, forklift operation, and furnace maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of industrial manufacturing tasks to support product production
- Band ingot per customer specification
- Operate the ingot casting robot
- Drive a forklift and transfer ingot to the banding pad
- Assist in maintaining furnace pump wells
- Assist in bag house maintenance
- Accurately record weights
- Show safe work practice around the facility
Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to follow instructions
- Reliability of attendance
- Ability to drive tow motor/forklift
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent GED Preferred
