About This Role

This role involves optimizing production systems by designing workflows, analyzing data, and identifying inefficiencies to improve output, quality, and cost targets. The engineer will implement practical fixes and recommend upgrades to maximize resource utilization in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Design and refine end-to-end production workflows to consistently meet output, quality, and cost targets
  • Capture production data and apply scientific and statistical analysis to map, document, and visualize processes
  • Spot bottlenecks and inefficiencies, then craft practical, durable fixes
  • Recommend equipment upgrades, process changes, and improved work methods to maximize labor, energy, and raw material utilization
  • Serve as a go-to resource and mentor for less experienced engineers when needed
  • Contribute to process development for new or more complex products

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a closely related field with strong mechanical aptitude
  • Hands-on experience in manufacturing process engineering within a production environment or manufacturing facility
  • Clear, concise written and verbal communication
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Proficiency with CAD software
  • Strong project leadership, planning, and time management skills
  • Confident, timely decision-making
  • Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving ability
  • Solid grasp of machining, geometric tolerances, and strength of materials

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a closely related field
  • Hands-on experience in manufacturing process engineering within a production environment or manufacturing facility.

Nice to Have

  • Background in powdered metallurgy
  • Experience in automotive and/or manufacturing environments
