About This Role

This role involves creating, optimizing, and maintaining production schedules across multiple high-speed converting lines for a hygiene market company. The expert will ensure material availability, minimize disruptions, and support an accurate execution of production plans, coordinating with various departments and European teams.

Responsibilities

  • Build and manage production schedules for all Reidsville production lines
  • Maintain real-time visibility of work-in-progress (WIP) and adjust schedules based on relevant factors
  • Communicate schedule changes proactively to Operations, Quality, Warehouse, and Maintenance
  • Lead weekly production planning meetings
  • Ensure timely availability of raw materials by coordinating closely with Purchasing and tracking supplier lead times
  • Monitor MRP exceptions, planned orders, and raw material constraints in SAP
  • Lead raw material transitions to prevent shortages
  • Maintain and coordinate master data such as BOMs, routings, and planning parameters
  • Work with Operations, Maintenance, Quality, and Warehouse to drive seamless production execution
  • Analyze capacity, historical production data, and forecast accuracy to improve long-term planning reliability

Requirements

  • Strong proficiency with ERP systems (SAP strongly preferred)
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, data modeling)
  • Understanding of demand planning, IBP logic, and MRP exception handling
  • Ability to analyze production performance, capacity, RM requirements, and inventory data
  • Strong problem-solving skills for identifying root causes of planning disruptions
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred
  • Prior experience in production planning, scheduling, supply chain, or manufacturing environment is strongly preferred
