Production Equipment Calibration & Setup Specialist

About This Role

Own and execute the setup and calibration of production machinery to ensure optimal performance, uptime, and quality, while maintaining safety standards and collaborating with production teams.

Responsibilities

• Set up and calibrate machinery and equipment per defined specifications and standards
• Conduct routine maintenance and resolve performance issues
• Collaborate with production teams to clarify requirements and meet deadlines
• Create, update, and maintain accurate records of setup processes and configurations
• Support onboarding by training team members on setup steps and safety practices
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes and reduce downtime
• Adhere to safety procedures and maintain a tidy, organized work environment

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Mechanical aptitude with strong diagnostic and problem-solving ability
• Comfort reading and interpreting technical documentation and schematics
• Detail-focused and able to work independently without close supervision
• Basic computer literacy for entries, logs, and reporting
• Effective communication and collaboration skills
• Practical experience with injection molding setup and operations

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Background in manufacturing or technical equipment setup (preferred)
