As a Production Assembler, you will be a key member of the production team at GE Aerospace's Jacksonville site, assembling electronic components for OEM and engine repair. This role involves learning to assemble electrical components, soldering, and performing functional testing, contributing to lean and 5S practices.
Responsibilities
- Perform visual and basic measurement inspection of parts subsequent to assembly steps
- Cut, strip, and crimp wire
- Perform functional tests using a variety of equipment to verify accuracy and functionality (i.e. electrical, helium, and leak tests)
- Operate test equipment
- Obtain all required certifications
- Safely handle hazardous materials
- Use a wide variety of hand and/or power tools
- Conduct weight measuring
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Prior assembly experience
- Ability to read and interpret dimensional measurements (calipers, and scales)
- Ability to lift up to 25lbs

- Possess basic math, computer, and ERP skills
- Basic written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to cross-train as required
- Capable of reading and interpreting blueprints
- Experience in soldering, electronics manufacturing, assembly, and brazing
