Product Security Engineer

About This Role

This role involves engineering security features directly into a Data+AI Security platform, focusing on cloud environments and addressing modern data security and privacy challenges. You will contribute to shaping the security architecture and integrating security throughout the software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of security and automation features for the Data+AI Security platform
• Collaborate within the engineering organization (security, product, and development teams) to integrate security throughout the software development lifecycle
• Design and implement features in the product to help organizations protect against various threats, including those related to AI and machine learning
• Stay current with emerging security threats, trends, and best practices in product security
• Contribute to the development of security-related product requirements and specifications

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in engineering with a focus on product security
• Strong software development skills, particularly in languages used in cloud-native applications
• In-depth knowledge of secure software development practices and common security vulnerabilities
• Experience with cloud security principles and implementing security in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Understanding of data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA, etc.) and their impact on product design

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in engineering with a focus on product security

Nice to Have

• Experience with developing and designing automation to remediate cloud issues
• Experience with security in AI/ML systems
