Product Manager, Guest Merchandising

About This Role

This role is for a product leader responsible for transforming how listings are represented on Airbnb, designing and optimizing the core listings page for accommodations to make booking easier for guests. The role involves leveraging AI and personalization to merchandise listings and collaborating with various teams to execute product strategy.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute the vision, strategy, and roadmap for accommodations merchandising on Airbnb
• Incorporate AI technologies to uplevel merchandising and set new digital standards for home merchandising
• Develop product roadmaps and build alignment across product teams and cross-functional partners
• Inspire teams, leadership, and the company to support the success of products and business outcomes
• Build deep expertise in the subject matter through user research, marketplace data, and competitive analysis
• Define goals and success with clearly measurable objectives and key results
• Efficiently execute to ship products and deliver impact for the business and users
• Craft product narratives and marketing strategies to communicate product benefits internally and externally
• Develop and deliver engaging product demos to press, showcasing key features and functionalities

Requirements

• 8+ years of product management experience
• Demonstrated track record of building cross-functional and executive leadership alignment
• Experience working on platforms on a global scale
• Entrepreneurial track record of taking an idea to reality
• Strong ability to effectively use data and perform business analysis to support product strategy/decisions
• Desire to do individual contributor product management work

Qualifications

• 8+ years of product management experience
