Process / Setup Technician

About This Role

The Set-up Technician will ensure machines are correctly set up and running efficiently to meet customer demand, prioritizing safety and quality. This role provides first-line support for production by addressing mechanical and safety issues as they arise.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all machines are up and set up to run efficiently to avoid any mechanical or safety issues, as the shift requires (60%)
• Responsible for safety, quality assurance, basic preventive maintenance and responding to problems immediately (line stops, and on calls, quality/safety issues etc.) First line of support for production (30%)
• Help machine operators with issues of reworking the product (10%)

Requirements

• Set up experience on machines
• Mechanical ability
• Safety awareness and practice
• Accountability and dependability
• Ability to work 4-10 hour days Mon-Thursday with overtime as needed
• Successful completion of a 90-day probation period

Qualifications

• High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED) desired
