Principal Team Leader, Cybersecurity Consulting

About This Role

Lead a team of cybersecurity advisors, providing guidance and consultation on best practices to defend company systems and people against cyber threats. Guide strategy, support incident response, and influence leaders across the organization to establish effective security practices and remediate vulnerabilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a cybersecurity consulting strategy to support company-wide and departmental business initiatives.
• Serve as a senior advisor in support of the Cybersecurity Director.
• Build influential relationships with key leaders across Chick-fil-A.
• Guide your team in creating and improving security policies, standards, and requirements.
• Promote the growth of a healthy, proactive, risk-based cybersecurity mindset across the organization.
• Serve as senior consultant to contribute experienced coaching and escalation response for issues.
• Guide a cybersecurity remediation program for vulnerabilities and misconfigurations.
• Collaborate with the Cybersecurity Engineering team to develop new remediation strategies and tactics.
• Maintain the Cybersecurity Risk Register, ensuring accuracy and engaging risk owners.
• Partner with Cybersecurity Leadership to respond to emerging cybersecurity threats.
• Represent cybersecurity positions as part of governance responsibilities within the Digital Delivery Process.
• Oversee and grow team capabilities related to cybersecurity metrics and reporting to stakeholders.
• Ensure the effective and timely execution of annually recurring responsibilities such as PCI attestation.
• Coach, mentor, and provide project and career guidance to the team.
• Communicate accomplishments, issues, and needs effectively to leadership.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience
• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related technical field of study
• Prior experience managing responsibilities similar to this role

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related technical field of study
• 6+ years of experience in responsibilities similar to this role
