Principal Product Manager (Customer Data Platform)

About This Role

As the Principal Product Manager for Customer Data Platform, you will define the strategy, product vision, feature definition, and roadmap prioritization. Your mission is to accelerate customer time-to-value by understanding their IT, data, and security needs to build robust, scalable data integrations that solve supply chain challenges. You will own the end-to-end data journey from ingestion to a clean, unified view of the supply chain.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the roadmap for getting data into Altana, including high-volume REST APIs, native connectors for major ERPs (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics), and flat-file importers.
• Identify critical systems customers use and lead the development of "One-Click" integrations.
• Architect pipelines that support continuous data synchronization for real-time supply chain views.
• Build intuitive, low-code tools for self-service mapping of internal data fields to Altana's canonical schema.
• Work with AI teams to productize matching logic for automated entity resolution and data clean-up.
• Create a transparent feedback loop for data quality, instantly notifying users of issues and how to fix them.
• Design experiences for both small suppliers (quick self-service onboarding) and large enterprises (robust controls for massive data volume and complex permissioning).
• Define how Altana handles encryption, data residency, and access controls during the ingestion process to ensure data security and governance.

Requirements

• 7+ years Product Management experience with deep understanding of integration between data platforms
• Ability to define system interfaces and data schemas
• Proficiency with APIs, EDI, ETL/ELT, JSON
• Experience with ERP systems like SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics
• Obsessed with user experience for data onboarding
• Ability to earn trust with Fortune 500 CIOs and empathize with Operations Managers at mid-sized firms

Qualifications

• 7+ years of Product Management experience, ideally with a deep understanding of integration between data platforms.
