Principal Associate

About This Role

This role is for a Principal Associate at TRC Advisory, a boutique consulting firm, where you will drive full workstreams, mentor junior consultants, and manage client relationships to maximize value creation for clients.

Responsibilities

• Serve as team thought leader and drive full workstreams, working directly with mid to senior-level clients to develop insight and build alignment.
• Develop and execute full workstreams and serve as lead on insight development for those workstreams.
• Consistently establish and meet deadlines with minimal errors.
• Mentor Associates and Senior Associates, providing direction and answering questions.
• Act as a good teammate, proactively finding ways to create leverage for the senior team.
• Regularly engage with clients and own mid- and senior-level client relationships.
• Actively identify opportunities to create value with clients and communicate in an organized and knowledgeable manner.
• Identify high-value client opportunities, drive appropriate follow-on work, and take lead on firm communication and client development efforts.

Requirements

• Relevant Bachelor's Degree (BS or BA) with outstanding academic achievement
• 7+ years of consulting or relevant business experience
• Problem-solving and analytical capabilities
• Entrepreneurial spirit
• Results-oriented team player with strong leadership and business building skills
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint

Qualifications

• Relevant Bachelor's Degree (BS or BA) from demanding four-year college or university with demonstrated outstanding academic achievement
• 7+ years of consulting or relevant business experience
