President – Professional Volleyball Team

About This Role

Lead the launch and long-term growth of a new professional volleyball franchise in the Mid-Atlantic region. This executive will oversee business operations, growth strategy, partnerships, brand development, and full P&L performance.

Responsibilities

• Set overall strategy and vision for the franchise
• Oversee full P&L, budgeting, and financial forecasting
• Lead sponsorships, partnerships, and ticketing revenue initiatives
• Secure founding partners and premium hospitality relationships
• Build and manage a high-performing front-office team
• Oversee venue selection, operations, and inaugural season readiness
• Serve as the primary public and community representative

Requirements

• 5+ years senior leadership experience in sports, entertainment, business, law, or finance
• Proven revenue growth and P&L ownership
• Experience launching or scaling organizations or sports properties
• Strong leadership skills
• Strong communication skills
• Strong negotiation skills
• Comfortable working in an entrepreneurial, build-from-scratch environment
