Design and develop Power Platform applications for the Minnesota Department of Information Technology Services, serving as a subject matter expert and providing knowledge transfer to MNIT developers.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop Power Platform applications
- Integrate Power Apps, Canvas App, Power Automate, Power BI, Report Builder, SQL Server Database, Azure Active Directory, and Microsoft Teams
- Serve as Power Platform subject matter expert
- Provide knowledge transfer to MNIT developers
- Assist in designing overall architecture for custom applications
- Analyze business requirements and develop solutions with Power Platforms in Microsoft 365 Government Community Cloud (GCC) with a SQL database in Azure Commercial Cloud
- Develop a Canvas App for an internal project tracking application
- Develop Power Automate for processes/components of the project tracking application
- Develop a front-end Customer Relationship Management Portal integrating with Active Directory and other data sources
- Liaise with developers to improve applications and establish best practices
Requirements
- 3+ years experience in Microsoft PowerApps development
- 3+ years experience in Microsoft Power Automate development
- 3+ years experience in .NET, JAVA, C#, or other development language
- 1+ year experience working with Microsoft Premium Connectors to external databases
- 2 engagements with each lasting more than six months in PowerApps Developer role
- Ability to design and develop complex model-driven and canvas apps using advanced techniques like component reusability, data integration, and custom controls
- Previous experience in Power Apps component framework (PCF)
- Skills in integrating Power Apps and Power Automate with other Microsoft products like SharePoint, Dynamics 365, Azure, and Teams
- Skills with using APIs to integrate with 3rd party systems
Qualifications
- 3+ years in Microsoft PowerApps and Power Automate development, with 2 engagements lasting more than six months in a PowerApps Developer role.
