About This Role

The Porter/Dishwasher is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of the bakery facilities and equipment, ensuring a hygienic and organized environment for both staff and customers. This role supports daily operations by handling sanitation duties and assisting with supply management.

Responsibilities

  • Clean, sanitize, and organize all bakery equipment including dishes, pots, pans, tools, and utensils
  • Maintain a neat appearance of working areas, employee, and customer bathrooms
  • Keep bakery supplies generally organized and tidy
  • Assist in putting away and maintaining the organization of food, paper, and other supply deliveries
  • Maintain bakery grounds by sweeping and mopping all floors, breaking down cardboard boxes, emptying trash, and cleaning windows, doors, and baseboards
  • Transport food or other products/items daily from storage rooms
  • Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies
