About This Role

Supervise children in a playroom environment, ensuring their safety and engagement, while enforcing rules and maintaining cleanliness. This role focuses on providing a positive experience for children and supporting parents visiting the facility.

Responsibilities

  • Provide a safe and positive environment for children by correcting unsafe situations and remaining observant of any hazards
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the playroom throughout scheduled shifts
  • Adhere to and enforce policies and procedures
  • Provide customer service to patrons by welcoming parents and children
  • Consult with management before approaching parents with concerns
  • Maintain a customer service approach in all interactions
  • Engage children in desirable behavior by encouraging appropriate use of toys
  • Follow established discipline guidelines and create a stimulating and engaging environment
  • Maintain accurate records on all children within the playroom areas, such as medical forms and releases
  • Manage check-in and out logs and complete incident forms

Requirements

  • Must be at least sixteen (16) years old
  • First Aid/CPR certification (specific to children) and babysitting certification required or the ability to obtain within thirty (30) days from hire

Qualifications

  • Less than a High School Diploma or equivalent
  • no prior work experience

Certifications
