Player Services Representative / Cage Cashier

About This Role

This role is responsible for executing guest monetary transactions and maintaining accurate balances while providing excellent customer service. It involves assisting guests with cash/credit transactions, player accounts, point redemptions, and promoting casino events.

Responsibilities

• Execute guest monetary transactions in an assigned window bank
• Maintain an accurate balance count of company assets
• Provide excellent customer service, greeting guests in a friendly and positive manner
• Assist guests with cash/credit transactions, player accounts, point redemptions, and promotion/event details
• Protect the player database by accurately inputting all required fields
• Exchange gaming chips and tickets, cash checks, and process markers and fills
• Maintain bank balance and safeguard casino cage assets during assigned shift
• Assist customers with filling out credit applications and maintain all customer credit files
• Issue window markers and safety deposit boxes to guests
• Enter markers, fill and credit slips into computer
• Assist guests with inquiries and advise on current promotions
• Create new Boyd Rewards accounts, print cards, and answer questions about the Boyd Rewards Club and promotions
• Work with Casino Hosts to assist guests in getting complimentaries

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age
• Basic Math skills with knowledge of currency
• Ability to operate calculators, computers, and money counters
• Ability to bend, push, lift, and carry up to 26 pounds in weight
• Strong communication skills with the ability to read and speak English
• Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary certifications and/or licenses as required by local gaming regulations
• Must pass heightened background review

Qualifications

• Previous money handling/cashiering preferred
