The Platform Associate will report to the Head of Platform and work with the Platform team to assist DCG Portfolio leaders in addressing critical strategic challenges, improving performance, and achieving performance objectives.
Responsibilities
- Work with DCG Platform team to track the performance of early-stage portfolio companies and identify value-adding opportunities like go-to-market strategies, ecosystem mapping, fundraising prep, and pitch refinement.
- Support organizational efforts for events, workshops, and initiatives benefiting portfolio companies and the startup community.
- Support the preparation of external and internal communications for various stakeholders.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with DCG stakeholders and portfolio companies.
- Manage multiple priorities and deliver projects on time.
- Take privacy and security seriously when developing solutions.
- Proactively build and solve problems, managing projects simultaneously and embracing the hustle.
- Engage in strategic thinking for new initiatives within a start-up environment.
- Look beyond immediate tasks to consider long-term, strategic impact.
Requirements
- 3+ years professional experience in a venture accelerator or similar capacity
- Skilled in coordinating with founders, corporate partners, and internal teams
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects on time
- Comfortable working in a start-up environment
- Intellectual curiosity
Qualifications
- 3+ years professional experience working in a venture accelerator or similar capacity. Direct experience in value creation work within venture funds, crypto, blockchain, or AI, or an eagerness to learn these areas.
Nice to Have
- Proficiency in learning other software tools (CRM, Airtable)
