Join Loenbro as a Pipefitter Journeyman to plan and install various piping systems for construction projects, ensuring safety and quality in critical infrastructure across the U.S.
Responsibilities
- Configure pipe systems blueprints and plan piping systems layouts
- Ensure all steam, water, chemicals, or other liquids are turned off before working on the piping system
- Precisely cut, bend, and weld metals such as carbon and stainless steel
- Clean and clear debris and hazardous materials from pipes as needed
- Install piping or tubing segments securely with welding or other equipment
- Thread, weld, solder piping together
Requirements
- 3 years’ experience as a pipefitter or pipefitter apprenticeship
- High school degree or equivalent educational experience
- Vocational school or trade apprenticeship
- Meet all state license requirements
Qualifications
- High school degree or equivalent educational experience; vocational school or trade apprenticeship required
- 3 years' experience as a pipefitter or pipefitter apprenticeship preferred
Nice to Have
- Accurate and precise attention to detail
- Knowledge of local, state, and federal building code regulations regarding piping systems
- OSHA 10
