This role involves providing direct, patient-centered pediatric care within a collaborative team, focusing on innovation and advocating for patients in Western New York. The pediatrician will work to ensure high-quality care for all, including underserved populations.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and provide direct patient pediatric care
- Facilitate care coordination and clinical collaboration among team members
- Ensure quality care delivery and risk mitigation strategies are in place
- Design and implement individualized care plans, treating each patient with respect and compassion
Requirements
- NYS medical license prior to start date
- Outstanding clinical capabilities and judgment
- Patient-centric with empathy, excellent active listening and communication skills
- Focused on collaborative team-based care
- Responsive and comfortable working in a fast-paced, high accountability environment
- Proficient in EHR systems
- Flexible, excellent judgment and ability to prioritize resources
- Comfortable working with in-person or telephonic interpreters
- Passion for providing high-quality primary health care to low-income, underserved residents
Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy, completion of three-year Family Practice Residency, Internal Medicine or Pediatrics Residency
