About This Role

This role involves providing direct, patient-centered pediatric care within a collaborative team, focusing on innovation and advocating for patients in Western New York. The pediatrician will work to ensure high-quality care for all, including underserved populations.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and provide direct patient pediatric care
  • Facilitate care coordination and clinical collaboration among team members
  • Ensure quality care delivery and risk mitigation strategies are in place
  • Design and implement individualized care plans, treating each patient with respect and compassion

Requirements

  • NYS medical license prior to start date
  • Outstanding clinical capabilities and judgment
  • Patient-centric with empathy, excellent active listening and communication skills
  • Focused on collaborative team-based care
  • Responsive and comfortable working in a fast-paced, high accountability environment
  • Proficient in EHR systems
  • Flexible, excellent judgment and ability to prioritize resources
  • Comfortable working with in-person or telephonic interpreters
  • Passion for providing high-quality primary health care to low-income, underserved residents

Qualifications

  • Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy, completion of three-year Family Practice Residency, Internal Medicine or Pediatrics Residency
