Provide high-quality patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and education, under the supervision of a licensed physician. The role ensures compliance with all state laws and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient histories and physical examinations
- Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests
- Diagnose and develop treatment plans for acute and chronic conditions
- Prescribe medications in accordance with New Jersey regulations
- Perform minor procedures
- Provide patient education and counseling on preventive care and treatment plans
- Document all patient interactions accurately in the EMR system
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and state/federal healthcare regulations
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
- Active and unrestricted Physician Assistant license
- NCCPA certification (PA-C)
- BLS/ACLS certification
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program

- 1-3 years of clinical experience
- Experience with EMR systems
