Physical Therapy Technician

About This Role

Join a service-based physical therapy team in Lithonia, GA as an unlicensed technician, assisting licensed therapists with patient care, equipment, and administrative tasks to improve patients' lives.

Responsibilities

• Prepare equipment and treatment areas for patient use
• Assist and/or observe patients perform prescribed therapy exercises and document patient responses to treatment
• Perform basic prescribed treatments such as applying ice packs and heat pads as instructed
• Clean and sanitize equipment and therapy areas, as well as change and launder linens
• Perform administrative tasks, including assisting with patient intake, answering phone calls and scheduling patient appointments

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Organizational detail and ability to multitask
• Proficient in the use of computers and learning new software programs

Qualifications
