Physical Therapy Assistant, PTA

About This Role

Implement and provide skilled physical therapy interventions for geriatric patients in a home setting. Communicate effectively with families, physicians, and other healthcare team members while maintaining accurate documentation.

Responsibilities

• Implement selected components of care and interventions in a technically competent manner
• Provide skilled intervention to improve patient functional independence
• Communicate with families, physicians, and other health care team members
• Keeps timely, thorough documentation of services in the medical record

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited college or university with an Associates in Physical Therapy
• Actively Licensed as a Physical Therapist Assistant

Qualifications

• Associates in Physical Therapy
• Two years (preferred) of clinical experience in respective fields of study

• Two years of clinical experience in respective fields of study
