About This Role

Implement and provide high-quality physical therapy services under the direction of a licensed physical therapist for patients in an outpatient orthopedic setting, focusing on diverse specialties like sports medicine and fall prevention.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act
• Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities
• Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited physical therapist assistant program
• Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by CAPTE
• Valid state physical therapist assistant (PTA) license (or license in process)
• CPR certification

Qualifications

• College graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program
