Pharmacist-in-Charge

About This Role

The Pharmacist-in-Charge oversees daily pharmacy operations and ensures compliance at the St. Louis location, while supporting multi-state licensure and expansion efforts. This role requires a hands-on approach and consistent on-site presence.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Pharmacist-in-Charge for the designated pharmacy location
• Ensure compliance with state Boards of Pharmacy, DEA, and applicable federal regulations
• Maintain policies, procedures, and documentation in an audit-ready state
• Act as primary point of contact for inspections and regulatory inquiries
• Oversee day-to-day pharmacy workflow and dispensing accuracy
• Support staffing coverage and operational consistency
• Provide hands-on oversight alongside pharmacy staff as needed
• Ensure prescriptions are processed in accordance with regulatory and company standards
• Support licensure and renewal activities in New York, Missouri, Connecticut, and additional states
• Provide steady leadership to pharmacists and technicians

Requirements

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD)
• Active pharmacist license in Missouri
• Eligible and willing to obtain licensure in additional states
• Prior experience serving as Pharmacist-in-Charge or Pharmacy Manager
• Strong understanding of pharmacy compliance and operations

Nice to Have

• Licensure in New York and/or Connecticut
• Experience in multi-state pharmacy operations
• Specialty pharmacy or 340B experience
