About This Role

Nurture lasting customer relationships and provide exceptional service, primarily through face-to-face interactions, by handling financial transactions, opening accounts, and advising customers on suitable banking products to help them achieve their financial goals.

Responsibilities

• Open deposit accounts, including Certificate of Deposits and IRAs, and process regular transactions efficiently and accurately.
• Educate customers about bank sales and service delivery options, referring appropriate products and services to match their needs.
• Evaluate needs of potential customers and offer appropriate financial products and services.
• Prepare and compile new customer account information to open new deposit accounts, including signature cards, new account sheets, check orders, direct deposit, and automatic bill pay.
• Refer and schedule appointments with Home Loan Originators and educate customers on various home loan products.
• Provide ongoing relationship servicing by informing and advising customers of status or enhancements to current accounts, and resolve account disputes.
• Respond promptly to customer inquiries and requests, resolving difficult customer transactions and situations.
• Promote and cross-sell Bank products and services, including FM Investments, as appropriate to customer needs.
• Generate new business to assist in meeting profitability goals of the office and production goals set by retail leadership.
• Answer telephone calls, take messages, provide information, and direct calls to appropriate staff as necessary.

Requirements

• High school diploma
• 3-5 years of retail banking experience
• Basic math and computer skills
• Working knowledge of banking/financial products and services
• Cash-handling experience
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Excellent time-management skills
• Ability to pass a background check
• Strong dedication to accuracy and efficiency

Qualifications
