About This Role

Manage the full lifecycle of the permitting process for construction projects, ensuring accurate and timely submission of applications. This role involves close collaboration with engineering, sales, and project teams and coordination with government agencies to facilitate project progression.

Responsibilities

  • Independently prepare and submit complete permit application packages
  • Review drawings and submittals for accuracy and completeness
  • Manage the uploading, delivery, and retrieval of documents with various jurisdictions and online portals
  • Maintain up-to-date records within permit tracking systems
  • Schedule and manage permit intake appointments
  • Coordinate and oversee a third-party permit runner to ensure timely submissions and follow-ups
  • Track, monitor, and report permit-related costs to support accurate job costing and financial transparency
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with local jurisdictions and internal stakeholders
  • Ensure ongoing awareness and understanding of the latest permitting requirements, procedures, and regulatory updates specific to each municipality

Requirements

  • Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail
  • Proven track record of managing and completing permitting processes
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and Bluebeam
  • Ability to read, understand, and manage trade drawings and technical documentation
  • Prior permitting experience
  • At least three years of administrative support, with an emphasis on permitting processes and managing documentation

Qualifications
