About This Role

This Perioperative Sales Specialist drives new business development and competitive conversions within acute care hospitals and ambulatory surgery centers, focusing on anesthesia machines and patient monitoring systems. The role requires a strong sales mentality and strategic approach to long sales cycles in medical capital equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a strategic territory business plan focused on competitive conversions and revenue growth
  • Build and manage a robust pipeline of opportunities across assigned hospitals and surgery centers
  • Conduct sales presentations, product demonstrations, and evaluations to position Mindray’s anesthesia and monitoring solutions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional Enterprise Sales Team (EST) members, including Clinical Specialists, Corporate Accounts, Marketing, Service, and Sales Support teams
  • Lead post-sale efforts by coordinating installations, in-services, and customer satisfaction initiatives
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with clinical, technical, and administrative stakeholders
  • Contribute to regional and national strategic initiatives to grow Mindray’s brand and support Key Opinion Leader (KOL) development
  • Track, analyze, and report key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure focus and alignment with company goals

Requirements

  • Proven success in capital or medical equipment sales
  • Track record of exceeding quotas
  • Strong cold-calling, pipeline management, and presentation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  • Ability to build trust and navigate complex decision-making processes within hospitals
  • High energy, strategic thinking, and self-motivation
  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and CRM tools
  • Team-oriented mindset with ability to collaborate across multiple divisions

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred
  • Proven success in capital or medical equipment sales, with a track record of exceeding quotas
