Pediatric COTA

About This Role

Provide direct, personalized occupational therapy services to pediatric patients in home, daycare, and school settings, focusing on improving functional abilities and independence. This role allows for meaningful patient interactions, detailed documentation, and work-life balance within a collaborative team.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized, one-on-one care in environments where patients thrive
• Provide occupational therapy services, including range of motion, strength, mobility, and caregiver training, following physician-approved plans
• Educate families on occupational therapy techniques and collaborate with team members for comprehensive care
• Administer therapy to improve functional abilities and independence
• Work closely with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality care

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited school program for Occupational Therapy Assistant
• Licensed to practice as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in Texas by the anticipated start date

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school program for Occupational Therapy Assistant
• 1 year of experience preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply

Nice to Have

• 1 year of experience
• Bilingual in Spanish
• Supervision of assistants experience
