Oversee payroll processing, tax compliance, and benefits administration, acting as a liaison between employees, management, and vendors. This role ensures compliance with regulations, manages audits, and resolves discrepancies to maintain accurate and efficient payroll operations.
Responsibilities
- Manage benefits and eligibility, including open enrollment and carrier management
- Ensure compliance with COBRA, ERISA, and ACA regulations
- Coordinate 401k census, audits, and Form 5500 filings
- Process payroll transactions for accuracy and timeliness
- Resolve payroll discrepancies and maintain employee data confidentiality
- Collaborate with external auditors and provide audit support
- Monitor multi-state employment laws to protect the organization and its employees
- Ensure the privacy and security of employee data systems
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- Knowledge of employment laws
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills
