Paving Foreman

About This Role

Lead and manage paving crews for road, highway, and bridge construction projects in Southeastern Wisconsin. Oversee personnel scheduling, equipment needs, and ensure continuous quality improvement in laying and compaction.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all aspects of efficient personnel scheduling
• Manage crew operations
• Oversee paving equipment needs and repair
• Reinforce continuous quality improvement in laydown and compaction

Requirements

• Satisfactory driving record
• Punctual and dependable
• High ethical standard for personal and business conduct
• Self-directed and motivated
• Ability to manage multiple conflicting and changing priorities
• Ability to be trusted with confidential information and observe anti-trust laws and regulations
• Ability to work varied hours including nights, early mornings, and weekends as needed
• Ability to tolerate and work in variable weather conditions
• Ability to work in dirty and dusty environments
• Member of the appropriate trade union or willingness to become a union member

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent is preferred
