Parts Runner

About This Role

Pull and deliver parts for the Parts Department, working closely with parts countermen to secure, deliver, and maintain parts inventory in a team environment. This entry-level role provides on-the-job training and skills necessary to understand a parts department's operations.

Responsibilities

• Pull and deliver parts to the technicians
• Pick up cores and warranty parts from technicians' stalls
• Help with stocking and posting orders upon arrival
• Pick up and deliver parts and equipment to other dealers or guests when needed
• Ensure the golf cart is kept clean
• Help shipping and receiving when necessary
• Operate the forklift when necessary
• Perform other specific administrative functions as directed by management
• Help maintain the professional appearance of the parts department
• Maintain high ethical standards in all actions

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent
• Valid CA Driver’s License and acceptable, safe driving record
• Minimum of 6 months shipping and receiving experience, preferably in a parts department
• Knowledge of automotive parts; basic mathematical principles
• Ability to pay attention to detail, follow-up with internal and external guests, read and interpret documents, read and comprehend English instructions, communicate professionally
• Ability to work Monday-Saturday

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent
• Entry-level position; minimum of 6 months shipping and receiving experience, preferably in a parts department.
