Parts Outside Salesperson

About This Role

This role involves handling customer parts needs, including direct contact and telephone inquiries, to achieve sales and inventory objectives while maintaining high customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Handle customer inquiries and parts needs on the telephone and at customer locations
• Identify customer parts needs and recommend appropriate parts
• Explain functions, features, and benefits of International and other stocked parts
• Negotiate sales issues, handle objections, and close orders
• Locate and provide parts to customers
• Complete sales transactions following policy requirements for cash, check, warranty, and credit card transactions
• Develop positive working relationships with key customer personnel and co-workers
• Maintain parts inventory, parts displays, and reference materials

Requirements

• Clean MVR (Motor Vehicle Record)
• Ability to successfully pass a background check
• Ability to successfully pass a pre-hire drug and alcohol test
• High degree of product and technical knowledge
• Team player with a strong sense of commitment to the customer
• Self-motivated with strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work other shifts to cover vacations or sick days
