Part-time Softball Umpire

About This Role

This part-time role as a Softball Umpire is ideal for individuals who enjoy sports and being outdoors, providing supplemental income while ensuring a safe, fun, and fair playing environment for all participants.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe, fun, social and fair environment for all players
• Understand and kindly and fairly enforce each sport’s rules
• Communicate with the office regarding any equipment, rule issues, player issues, etc.

Requirements

• Familiarity with softball rules
• Availability on weekdays from 5:30pm-10:00pm for a minimum of eight weeks
• Reliable transportation to and from field locations

Nice to Have

• Prior referee experience
• Experience in diffusing challenging situations
