Part-time Doorstep Waste Removal

About This Role

Join Trash Butler as a Part-time Doorstep Waste Removal team member, where you will be responsible for nightly trash and recycling collection from resident doorsteps in multi-family apartment communities.

Responsibilities

• Ensure satisfactory completion of nightly doorstep trash/recycling collection
• Utilize assigned trash tote or cart to collect bagged trash from each resident doorstep
• Utilize Trash Butler's field app for efficient timekeeping, check-in/out, and reporting
• Safely transport collected trash using an open-bed pickup truck or cart
• Dispose of collected trash in on-site dumpsters, compactors, or chute rooms
• Perform additional services as needed, including porter service, bulk item hauling, and compactor clean-up
• Maintain daily communication with your supervisor/manager
• Work quietly and efficiently, minimizing noise to avoid disturbance to residents
• Adhere to the company's core values

Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. and use hands and arms repetitively
• Ability to climb stairs in apartment buildings
• Ability to work outdoors and be exposed to various weather conditions
• Own an open bed pick-up truck (required at most properties)
• Auto insurance in your name or listed as an authorized driver
• Cell phone (Smart Phone) to download and use the company's app
• Self-motivation and reliability
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to work efficiently without sacrificing quality of service

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• No prior experience required; full training provided. Customer service experience is a plus.
