About This Role

As a Part Time Catering Associate, you will be responsible for creating high-quality culinary experiences while providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a clean, safe environment. This role involves managing the catering system, coordinating event logistics, and ensuring guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Create a consistent, quality product and culinary experience
  • Provide exceptional customer service and presentation
  • Maintain a clean and safe eating environment
  • Manage the online catering system to create work orders for meal preparation and delivery
  • Work with and understand all guest requirements before events
  • Transport meals and associated items to events and complete setup requirements
  • Clean up venues after events, ensuring no food or items remain
  • Follow up with guests to ensure event success
  • Perform general kitchen duties including cleaning, stocking, and food prep
  • Handle some cash and supervisory duties

Requirements

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Decision making skills
  • Ability to manage in a diverse environment with focus on client and customer services
  • Strong leadership and motivating skills
  • Knowledge of food, food hygiene (including hazard analysis and critical control points) and food preparation
  • Flexibility to work different start and end times, including evenings, weekends, or holidays

Qualifications

  • 2+ years restaurant experience and 3+ years catering experience preferred

Nice to Have

  • 2+ years restaurant experience
  • 3+ years catering experience
  • Knowledge of Microsoft applications including Word and Excel
  • Experience using POS systems
  • Servsafe training
