A Commercial Real Estate Investor in Pacific Palisades is seeking a part-time Assistant for 20 hours/week to manage various home and work tasks. The role involves overseeing real estate business aspects and home renovations, allowing the investor to transition towards retirement.
Responsibilities
- Assume aspects of the real estate business, including getting bids for projects and determining priorities
- Oversee home rebuild/renovation
- Communicate with stakeholders including portfolio managers and building engineers
- Develop creative and efficient solutions for work and home problems
- Implement effective working processes and manage task lists in Google Docs
- Attend meetings and summarize for the principal
- Manage and track projects with follow-up
- Anticipate the principal's needs
- Manage calendar and schedule appointments
- Book travel, including international trips
- Conduct research and sourcing
- Run errands
Requirements
- BA/BS from competitive US college or equivalent
- 4 years' assistant experience
- 4 years' working in an office or professional environment
- Strong tech skills (apps, software, ability to figure things out)
- Strong writing skills
- Business and negotiation experience
- Experience with home renovations, sourcing, and managing vendors
- Proficiency in MS Office including Excel
- Organized, honest, and reliable
Qualifications
- BA/BS from a competitive US college or equivalent
- 4 years' assistant experience and 4 years' working in an office or professional environment
