This role involves accurately and efficiently packaging pet food products, ensuring all items meet high safety and quality standards. The Packager will be a crucial part of the production team, contributing to a product that enhances the lives of pets and their owners.
Responsibilities
- Carefully package pet food products
- Ensure all items meet safety and quality standards
- Inspect packaging for errors and properly label products
- Collaborate closely with team members to promote a customer-centric approach
- Adhere to production schedules and safety protocols
- Assist operator by filling and sealing bags and monitoring machine operation
- Keep the packaging line clean
- Assist in clearing jams from the bundler
- Assist operator in all packaging functions
- Assist in conducting and recording metal, weight, seals, and lot code checks as needed
