About This Role

This role is for an Overnight Veterinary Triage Assistant dedicated to providing critical patient care and client support in a fast-paced emergency veterinary environment. You will support veterinarians and technicians, triage incoming patients, and maintain treatment areas.

Responsibilities

• Triage and intake of incoming emergency patients
• Gathering patient histories and obtaining vitals
• Perform safe and effective patient restraint
• Assist veterinarians and technicians with diagnostics and treatments
• Dispense medications as directed
• Clean, restock, and maintain treatment areas
• Provide compassionate, professional client communication
• Demonstrate empathy and emotional intelligence during stressful situations

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to stay calm and focused in high-pressure situations
• Willingness to learn, grow, and take initiative
• Passion for emergency medicine and saving lives

Qualifications

• Veterinary Assistant or Animal Care experience preferred (not required)
