This role prepares new prescription orders and refills for outpatients, involving order intake, data entry, and prescription preparation. The technician supports outpatients, hospital staff, and delivery patients by providing seamless and exceptional care.
Responsibilities
- Interact positively and helpfully with patients, visitors, physicians, volunteers, and co-workers
- Enter prescription orders
- Process and prepare prescriptions for pharmacist check
- Compound pharmaceutical products such as ointments, creams, and other medications according to regulations
- Prepare inventory, order supplies, and stock shelves in the pharmacy
- Appropriately use resources, such as inventory and supplies
- Rotate through all work areas of the pharmacy
