This role is responsible for accurately picking and fulfilling customer orders, assisting in daily warehouse operations, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment at the RectorSeal Houston facility.
Responsibilities
- Assist in daily operations
- Pick customer orders accurately according to our Picking Procedure
- Wrap pallets
- Load trailers and containers
- Inspect product for damages and report as needed
- Follow all safety protocols and warehouse procedures
- Maintain a clean and orderly warehouse environment
- Perform equipment maintenance and upkeep
- Execute routine cleaning duties
- Interface with management to ensure key objectives are realized
Requirements
- High School diploma (or equivalent)
- 3+ years experience in Picking and Fulfilling Orders
- 3+ years experience in operating Walkie Rider
- 3+ years experience in operating Reach Truck
- Proven work experience in warehouse setting
- Physical stamina and dexterity necessary for work
- Able to lift or move at least 50 lbs. unassisted and stand for prolonged periods
- Able to work independently and safely
- Proficient in speaking, reading and writing in English
- Basic Arithmetic skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication)
Qualifications
- High School diploma (or equivalent)
- 3+ years’ experience in Picking and Fulfilling Orders, Walkie Rider operation, and Reach Truck operation
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with shipping scanners
- Inventory systems proficiency (DSI & JDE experience)
