About This Role

This role is responsible for accurately picking and fulfilling customer orders, assisting in daily warehouse operations, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment at the RectorSeal Houston facility.

Responsibilities

• Assist in daily operations
• Pick customer orders accurately according to our Picking Procedure
• Wrap pallets
• Load trailers and containers
• Inspect product for damages and report as needed
• Follow all safety protocols and warehouse procedures
• Maintain a clean and orderly warehouse environment
• Perform equipment maintenance and upkeep
• Execute routine cleaning duties
• Interface with management to ensure key objectives are realized

Requirements

• High School diploma (or equivalent)
• 3+ years experience in Picking and Fulfilling Orders
• 3+ years experience in operating Walkie Rider
• 3+ years experience in operating Reach Truck
• Proven work experience in warehouse setting
• Physical stamina and dexterity necessary for work
• Able to lift or move at least 50 lbs. unassisted and stand for prolonged periods
• Able to work independently and safely
• Proficient in speaking, reading and writing in English
• Basic Arithmetic skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication)

Qualifications

• High School diploma (or equivalent)
• 3+ years’ experience in Picking and Fulfilling Orders, Walkie Rider operation, and Reach Truck operation

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with shipping scanners
• Inventory systems proficiency (DSI & JDE experience)
