Operations Technician II

About This Role

This role involves providing technical engineering support for fleet maintenance of Department of Defense customers, focusing on operations, maintenance, transportation, and inventory management. The Operations Technician II will independently solve problems and perform high-profile work.

Responsibilities

• Perform extremely high-profile work for the Department of Defense
• Function independently to resolve problems
• Perform maintenance and other logistics functions on fielded systems
• Prepare shipping materials
• Operate test and diagnostic equipment
• Operate handling equipment
• Operate/drive various vehicles

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• 5+ years of relevant experience
• Current Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
• Interim Secret clearance required on day one
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• 5+ years of relevant experience

Nice to Have

• Experience in commercial and military type Material Handling Equipment
• Mechanical aptitude
• Ability to conscientiously follow written and verbal instructions
• Proper use of standard hand tools and material handling equipment
• Operation of heavy equipment, including trucks and forklifts
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds
• Physically fit with full use of arms, legs, and back
• Ability to use computers for information search and generation using Microsoft
