This role supports 24/7 operations for U.S. government missions by overseeing daily functions, monitoring systems, and providing technical troubleshooting. The specialist will work within a rotating watch team, ensuring project deliverables and maintaining situational awareness for leadership.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations as a member of a 24/7 support team
- Work within a rotating watch to ensure project deliverables
- Monitor operations, including mission and support systems (generators, HVAC, IT equipment)
- Provide basic troubleshooting and act as escalation manager liaison for rapid restoration notification
- Provide timely updates to customers, Senior Leadership, and Program Manager for situational awareness
- Conduct pass down briefings, maintain pass down logs, and present to on-coming watch teams
- Train and mentor newly assigned and/or junior watch standers
- Prepare and disseminate information reports, presentations, and other deliverables
- Conduct routine project status meetings and help identify project challenges and risks
- Facilitate or participate in the creation of document deliverables like SOPs and Project Status Reports
- Ensure project deadlines are kept and tasks remain within project scope
Requirements
- Minimum High School education
- 4+ years' experience in a team environment
- Current and active DoD Top Secret security clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI
- Proficient with modern IT tools and infrastructure technologies
Qualifications
- High School
- Minimum four (4) years' experience working in a team environment

- Ability to act as escalation manager liaison
- Initiative and ability to work in a team while keeping management informed
- Well organized and detail-oriented
- Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
- Willing and able to work shift, overtime, holidays, and weekends
- Ability to establish confidence and credibility with managers and senior level Navy leaders
- Ability to foster open communications within teams
- Ability to concurrently handle multiple issues and assignments
- Experience developing solutions to routine technical problems of limited scope
