About This Role

The Operations Experience Administrator acts as an employee advocate and resource center, delivering outstanding service to Blount's employees and temporary staff, and supporting business needs and employee satisfaction. This role involves interacting with production employees, monitoring work schedules, and assisting with various employee-related requests.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver outstanding employee experience with a customer service focus to all production employees
  • Empower employees through education and hands-on support
  • Review hourly team members' adherence to work schedule, including spending time on the production floor
  • Effectively track staffing levels in operation departments and partner with leadership and TA team
  • Review department timecards for accuracy
  • Act as a liaison between employees and support departments (e.g., HR, Safety)
  • Participate, assist, and support all Employee Engagement initiatives
  • Work with operations team to ensure timeliness with employee requests (e.g., Ubers, badge access, UKG)
  • Build rapport and support Operations employees with resources; connect to various branches of the organization
  • Partner with Supervisors, Onboarding, and Training & Development regarding the new hire process
  • Communicate opportunities or trends to key stakeholders
  • Provide sick line support and triage to appropriate personnel
  • Act as a confidential liaison between safety & HR with ad hoc paperwork requests
  • Communicate effectively via email, Microsoft Teams, and in person to various departments
  • Document all employee interactions in accordance with standard processes

Requirements

  • Bilingual Spanish
  • One year certificate from college or technical school
  • Six-Twelve months customer service-related experience and/or training
  • Ability to be an empathetic, non-judgmental, confidential resource
  • Strong oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Proven skills to build and manage relationships, collaborate, influence, and negotiate
  • Basic computer skills (Internet software, Database, Word Processing software)

Qualifications

  • One year certificate from college or technical school
  • Six-Twelve months customer service-related experience and/or training
