Operations and Maintenance Technician - Fueling Stations

About This Role

As an Operations and Maintenance Technician, you will diagnose and repair malfunctioning systems and apparatus, perform routine maintenance on CNG compressor equipment, and ensure proper functioning of all station equipment. You will also provide 24-hour on-call service to customers and respond to emergency and preventative maintenance calls.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and instrument components using test equipment and hand tools to locate and correct breakdowns.
• Perform routine maintenance on various operating CNG compressor equipment, including pumps, valves, meters, and rotating equipment.
• Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair.
• Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures using testing devices.
• Ensure all station equipment, including safety devices and systems, are functioning properly and report any equipment failures.
• Perform daily walk-around inspections to identify potential risks and maintain good housekeeping standards.
• Service existing accounts through routine calls on customers, receiving calls, and conducting site visits.
• Respond to emergency calls and preventative maintenance calls in an organized manner.
• Document service actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records.

Requirements

• 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing automated equipment
• Ability to lift 60lbs
• Computer skills
• Ability to read schematics
• Good communication skills (written and verbal)
• Attention to detail

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or Equivalent
• Three to five years of industrial maintenance experience, troubleshooting and repairing automated equipment.

Nice to Have

• Coursework or certification in electronic technology
• Wide range construction technology knowledge and materials
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office
